Terry Irwin to share his expertise on doing business in China and Russia – November 2015
TCii Managing Director Terry Irwin is to give a talk at a special luncheon for a group of delegates from the International Professional Association (IPA) who are seeking to capture important business from China and Russia. The presentation, entitled “Business Etiquette: One Man’s Experience of Doing Business in China and Russia”, will draw on Terry’s considerable international business experience in various regions of the world, including Asia and the Russian Federation.
Terry will impart the crucial pieces of knowledge that can make the difference between a profitable deal and a wasted overseas trip. To summarise the main points he will cover:
- Places and people differ. Being aware of these differences can help gain – or avoid losing – business.
- Knowing what is and is not expected of you can make a difference.
- Managing your own expectations is important, particularly in terms of the time it may take to close a deal.
- Being aware of the risks will help you to avoid them.
The luncheon takes place on 11 November 2015 at a renowned Central London restaurant and wine bar.
