Financial services provider Newable has booked TCii CEO Terry Irwin to speak at an interactive workshop designed to help SMEs extend their international reach. Entitled “Building Resilience: Sustaining Your International Growth”, the event is a free half-day event part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and aimed at SMEs based in Kent and parts of East Sussex.
Delegates will receive valuable information on how to grow and develop in international markets, expanding their sales and operations into new geographies using an international expansion plan to provide a more distinct focus.
Topics discussed will include the benefits of exporting and the ways in which exporting differs from domestic business. Also on offer will be global insights, expansion strategies and a guide on how to mitigate risk and trade safely overseas.
Terry’s contribution will be a one-hour presentation that will include a Q&A session. He will cover a number of key topics such as expansion plans, selection of target markets, choice of entry routes, goal setting, identification of critical success factors, review of competitors, and SWOT analysis.
The event will take place at a venue in Ashford, Kent, on 5 March 2020.
