Terry Irwin to speak on exit strategy at Sakura Business Clinic – April 2017

TCii Managing Director Terry Irwin will be one of the main speakers at an event entitled “Preparing for a Successful Business Exit”, to be held in London on 5 April 2017. The event is the next in the series of Business Clinics organised by London-based accountancy and business advisory firm Sakura Business Solutions. Its theme will be the importance of planning in advance for your exit, to maximise the return from your entrepreneurial efforts and minimise the stress involved in the process.

Terry will talk about how to prepare for exit, and how to sell your business. The topics he will cover include:

  • Preparing your business for sale.
  • Why sell?
  • Is your business ready?
  • What you should and shouldn’t do.
  • Valuing your business.
  • Getting the timing right.
  • Building value.

Damian Connolly, Managing Director of Sakura, will give the accounting perspective on “The due diligence process – challenges and solutions”.

Christopher Burgon, Litigation Consultant at Saunders Law, will cover the legal perspective in his presentation “Resolve your disputes: Clear out the skeletons in the closet”.

The evening, which Sakura is running in association with Metro Bank, will begin and end with a networking session.

The event will take place at the London HQ of Metro Bank, from 18:45 to 20:30 on Wednesday 5 April 2017. Invitations will be sent out in March, but if you do not receive one and you would like to attend, please contact TCii or call Terry Irwin on 020 7099 2621 to register your interest.
