Terry Irwin to speak on international trade at SME Forum – March 2014
TCii Managing Director and CEO Terry Irwin will be one of the key speakers at the SME Forum “Going International With Your Business – the Pitfalls” in London on Wednesday 26 March 2014. Organised by the Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, the event is the first in a new series aimed at helping growing companies to expand their businesses and increase their profitability.
Terry’s presentation will cover:
- choosing the best mode of entry to an overseas market
- the dos and don’ts of conducting business in foreign countries.
The evening’s other speakers will be Jeff Dean, Founder and Managing Director of business advisory company Soft Landing and Co-founder of Innovation Warehouse and Connect-London, and Paul Stylianou, owner of Business Support International. The event will be chaired by Richie Clark, Board Director of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Chamber’s SME Forum, and Head of Corporate at Fox Williams LLP.
The evening will begin with registration, welcome drinks and networking from 18:00, and the presentations will start at 18:40. A ten-minute Q&A session at 19:25 will be followed by a further networking opportunity until 20:30.
The SME Forum will take place at Innovation Warehouse, 1 East Poultry Avenue, London EC1A 9PT. The venue is located above the historic Smithfield Market in Farringdon – within London Tech City and close to Clerkenwell, Shoreditch and the City of London.
