A focus on performance raises competitiveness

Our client, who operates in the printing industry, was suffering due to poor individual productivity and performance compared with its competitors.

Our challenge

We had to benchmark the organisation to establish its current position and then identify what needed to change to achieve sustainable, profitable growth. The next step was to help implement the changes.

What we did

First of all we evaluated each member of the client’s team, identifying strengths and areas for development.

We then set a number of objectives, identifying the improvements required. We also developed a set of tools for individuals and groups, to help deliver them.

Workshops were held to develop trust, honesty and supportiveness between teams and to remove the ‘silo’ mentality between departments.

The outcome

After six months, performance was measured against the original benchmark and significant progress in individual and team productivity and performance was seen. The process was then integrated into the organisation to further improve and maintain organisational excellence.
